Why choose mobile acoustic screens?

A mobile acoustic screen does two jobs. Its fabric-covered core absorbs speech and background noise, and its castor feet let one person move it without tools. That makes it a good fit for offices, classrooms and training rooms where the layout changes from week to week.

Our Muffle 70 mobile acoustic screen is 70mm thick, with a double layer of 12mm sound-absorbent foam on both sides and two lockable castor feet. It comes in widths from 800mm to 1800mm and heights of 1200mm, 1500mm and 1800mm.

How to choose a mobile acoustic screen

  1. Height. A 1200mm screen separates seated areas. A 1500mm or 1800mm screen gives more privacy and absorbs more sound around standing groups.
  2. Width. Measure the space you want to enclose. A wider screen, or several side by side, makes a more effective barrier.
  3. Surface. Choose an all-fabric screen for the most sound absorption, or a whiteboard face for meeting and teaching spaces.
