Office Dividers
Office dividers are free-standing screens that split an open-plan office into team areas, quiet zones and walkways without any building work. Prices start from £119 ex VAT and most screens link together into runs of any length.
Our range covers freestanding fabric screens, folding dividers and pinnable screens that double as notice boards. Panels are covered in hard-wearing upholstery fabric in a wide choice of colours, so you can match your interior or brand. Most screens link together to create straight runs, L-shapes or full workstation pods.
Need more sound control? Take a look at our acoustic office screens, made with sound-absorbing cores. For desk-level privacy, see our desk divider screens.
Not sure which type you need? Read our guide to office room dividers, or see office partitions for longer, taller runs.
Free delivery to England and Wales on every order. Call 020 3995 4570 (Mon–Fri, 9am–4pm) for help choosing sizes or for volume pricing.
Office dividers for every space
Office dividers, also called office room dividers or office divider screens, are free-standing panels that split an open-plan office into team areas, quiet zones, walkways and meeting corners. They need no building work, link together into longer runs and can be moved whenever your layout changes.

How to plan your office dividers
- Height: around 1200mm keeps people visible, about 1500mm gives privacy when seated, and 1800mm or more blocks views when standing.
- Layout: link office divider screens into straight runs, L-shapes and bays with 2-, 3- and 4-way connectors.
- Noise: if calls and conversation are the problem, choose acoustic office dividers with a sound-absorbing core.
- Light: where you need to keep light, choose glazed office dividers or glass office partitions.
- Flexibility: for rooms that change use, see mobile office dividers or folding screens.

Free-standing room dividers and screen dividers
Our office dividers work just as well as free-standing room dividers. They stand on their own feet, so nothing is fixed to the floor, walls or ceiling, and you can move them whenever your layout changes. That makes them a good fit for rented offices, schools, clinics, churches, community halls and home offices.
- Space dividers for open-plan rooms: link screens in straight runs or L-shapes to separate teams, walkways and break-out areas.
- Tall room dividers: taller screens block views when people are standing. See the height guide in the FAQs below.
- Screens on wheels: mobile office screens roll out of the way when you need the space back.
- Folding room dividers: for a quick, portable divider, see our folding screens and concertina room dividers.
- Quieter rooms: freestanding acoustic screens also absorb noise.

Frequently asked questions
What sizes are available?
Across our fabric office dividers range, heights run from 800mm to 1800mm and widths from 800mm to 1800mm, depending on the product. Each product page lists its exact sizes.
How quickly can I get them?
Lead times depend on the product. Most are dispatched in 5 to 20 working days, and some made-to-order ranges take 3 to 4 weeks. The lead time is shown on each product page.
Can I see fabric colours before I order?
Yes. Order free fabric samples to check colours and textures before you buy, as photos on screen are not always colour-accurate.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes. We deliver across the UK and can install office screens anywhere in the UK, with free layout advice. Contact us for a quote.
What is the difference between office dividers and office partitions?
The terms overlap. Office dividers usually means free-standing screens that split up an open-plan space, while office partitions can also mean fixed walls. All our office dividers are free-standing, so there is no building work.
How high should office dividers be?
Around 1200mm divides space while keeping people visible, about 1500mm gives privacy when seated, and 1800mm or more blocks views when standing.
Can I use office dividers as room dividers outside the office?
Yes. Because they're free-standing, our dividers are used in schools, clinics, churches, community halls and home offices as well as workplaces. They need no fixings, so they suit rented spaces too.
